Painting and spitting :)

The painting is being done with chalk paint, and the spitting is being done with a wonderful gel stain and glaze I have found called Unicorn SPiT. The product is so much fun to work with. You can use your fingers, brushes, pour it on and spread it by letting it run, etc., and it adheres to wood, chalk paint, metal, fabric, concrete, pottery, and glass (use Mod Podge first on glass) etc. It looks beautiful on bare wood. There are a lot of videos online from Michelle, the inventor of this great product. I don’t use it on every piece of furniture I paint, but it sure is fun to experiment with on certain pieces. It is kid-friendly and smells wonderful because Michelle adds jasmine oil to it.

More on all of this later. I am trying to figure out why pictures are not posting, and half my post on this blog didn’t post either. Hmmmm?
